Tips For Reading This Blog...

Above is The Masonic Home, as it stands today -- empty. After supporting orphans for over a century, The Home closed just a few years ago but we still have stories to tell... so stay tuned!

An easy how-to in case you aren't an expert blog reader:

• Want to email a post? (then you can forward it to anyone who might be interested). How to do this: under any blog post you can click the envelope icon.
  
• Want to try a feedreader? Click the atom link at the bottom of the right column. You can set up to receive the blog feed through several options. I recommend Bloglines (my favorite) and Google Reader. I use both. It is an easy way to read this blog on a regular basis and get all new articles as they come up.
  
• How to read the posts - the most recent post/article is at the top. You can scroll down for previous articles, up to 12. Older posts are kept in the archives - a link on the right column.
  
• Want to comment? We'd love to hear from you. You can leave comments in a variety of ways, including anonymously or with your name/url -- the last choices if you aren't a blogger yourself and have an existing ID. Just pull down the tab/bar underneath the comment box, once you click comment at the bottom of the post. The blog editor has to approve all comments - just so we don't have spam comments - so it might take awhile for the comment to appear. When you comment you'll have to type in the letters you see in the box. This is to reduce spammers.
• Come back again, again and again. This is the place where we will post news and articles on a regular basis on all things relating to the 12 Mighty Orphans story.
